[Extra] Events at a bar one day (Rose and daily menu)

It was just after midnight. In the basement of a building on the outskirts of downtown Roppongi, in a cramped bar. The bar was just about to close and there was only one customer to be seen.

Rose, seated at the counter, turns to the barman who is polishing a glass.

"Hey, I'd like to know what his favourite food is."

"...... Favourite food?"

In response to the abruptness of the statement, Marquis asks back.

By his she means Nishino.

"I'm struggling to come up with a menu for tomorrow's dinner. Do you have any suggestions?"

"You're preparing for him?"

"In your country, if you want to win a man's heart, you have to win his stomach first, don't you? I wouldn't put this much effort into building an amicable relationship. So I would like to know if you know anything about this. "

"..... I see."

A blonde Lolita who tries to make excuses like that.

Rose prepares meals for everyone at the share house, day after day. As the months have gone by in the shared house, the choices have become increasingly limited. It seems that she went all the way to the Marquis to break the ice.

"I haven't heard from him, but he tends to ask for rather strong flavoured food. "

"I see, so it goes with his taste in alcohol."

"And your other housemate, she picks a lot of nuts in the shop."

"Don't worry about that one."

" ... I see. "

Following Marquis talk, Rose's brain began to construct a menu for tomorrow and onwards.

As she did so, the barman muttered something as if he had suddenly remembered something.

"But if that's what you mean, I don't think you need to be too enthusiastic. "

"What do you mean?"

"He is used to praise your cooking. Whatever you serve him, he'll be reaching for his chopsticks."

"....."

Rose's heart beat fast when she was unexpectedly told of the true feelings of her intended partner. She is pleased to hear the honest opinions of others, as she has never received any compliments from either of them to her face.

"Well, that's quite good!"

"That's good to hear. But don't tell him I said that."

"Yeah, it's okay. I won't bother telling them."

When this happens, it's Rose who irresistibly wants to see Nishino's face.

From tomorrow onwards, she will also be conscious of meal preparation.

Unable to stand still, she downs the sake in one gulp, which she has not long since ordered. She then stands up from her seat at the counter, where she has not long been sitting. On the table is a high sum of money, pressed against a coaster as payment. She was almost pleading that she didn't need any change.

"I think it's time for me to leave for the day."

"I see."

Rose returned home in a good mood.

As Marquis watched her back, he muttered to himself that it had been a long time since he had done a good job.
