[Request III]

After school that day, Nishino visited the same bar in Roppongi as last night.

He had followed Marquis' instructions to come back the next day. The bar was closed with a sign hanging in the doorway, but no customers were to be seen. The bartender and Nishino exchange some quick words about his work.

"I received confirmation from the client. Here's a list of the target places."

On the counter, Marquis presented a sheet of paper.

On it were several statements.

Most of them were names of luxury hotels in Tokyo.

"...... That's a lot of them."

"They are a list of facilities that the subject has stayed at in the last few days. The client explains that some of them are probably still in use today. If you want, we can point people to them and narrow it down to a certain level."

" Sorry, can you do that for me?"

"I'm already working on getting people arranged, thinking that's what they'll say."

For Nishino himself, it was a perfectly normal exchange. However, when he was in the bar with an elegant setting, leaning on the counter with one elbow on the other and his legs crossed in an exaggerated manner, it seemed to the onlooker as if he was in a state of excitement.

However, there was no one in the bar to intervene.

"And your cut is more generous than usual."

"You're making good money, aren't you? "

"I'm just trying to make things a little easier for the newbies."

"Yeah, I'll let the people know that."

Nishino smiled at him, to which Marquis responded with an equally small smile. While the latter was no better than a handsome actor in an action movie, the former was like a junior high school playground.

Then, when the conversation about work came to a close, a dry sound came.

The front door was opened.

"There you are, Nishino."

"Have you been here two days in a row? It's miserable to be dependent on alcohol at a young age."

They are Rose and Gabriella.

As soon as they saw the Futsumen in the bar, they entered, ignoring the sign that the bar ant was closed.

They walked up to the counter. They settled into seats on either side of Nishino, then turned to the bartender and placed their order.

"It was so cold outside, I want something to warm me up."

"I want something warm too. And do you have any sweet snacks?"

"You guys I haven't opened the store yet...... "

A bitter comment comes from Marquis, who instantly has a salty expression on his face.

However, these two did not listen to this.

They turned to Nishino, not caring what the barman had to say.

"Nishino, may I ask you a question?"

"Is it really worth going all the way to a place like this?"

"It's not like that, but I got a call from Shimizu."

"A call from the Chairwoman?"

The Futsumen naturally took a bite out of the name of someone who has been on his mind for some time now. Happily, Rose continues the story. It was during the break today that the Chairwoman brought to Rose's attention the movements of Okuda-san.

"I heard that you and Okuda-san from Class C were making a lot of noise in the classroom."

"...... What about her?"

Nishino's attention turned completely to Rose.

Now that the promised partner of youth, the Chairwoman, has been lost, it is no exaggeration to call her a beacon of hope for the Futsumen. Although they have only just met, they are thinking that they would like to continue to interact with each other in the future.

It was a big deal for him that the other party suggested exchanging contact information.

"Did you know that she had a lot of trouble when she first entered the school? "

"Yeah, I think I heard some gossip about that."

"I don't like to say this, but I don't think the girls are very interested in you because of it. If you approach her, you may have to give up on the other girls on campus."

Now that she was getting closer to Nishino, it was the best move Rose could do.

If it had been her before, she would have approached Okuda-san immediately. She would have waited until the backstabbing or transferring to a different school. However, she was enjoying her shared life at the share house to the fullest, and could not take such a risk at this point.

For what it's worth, it's Rose who can't help but love the days she spends with Nishino.

"It's still as confusing as ever. Enough, I've had enough of this...... "

"You should keep your mouth shut."

Gabu-chan was rudely interrupted by Rose disappointment.

The Futsumen, on the other hand, took it in stride.

"I've already taken care of Okuda-san's case."

"Oh, is that so ? "

Nishino had already laid the groundwork for Risa-chan during the lunch break on the same day.

As for Rose, it was a painful reaction.

When she was told so, no more good warnings came to mind.

While she was struggling with the words to follow, the other party thanked her.

"I want to thank you for coming all the way out here to tell me."

"It's nothing to be thanking me for."

"So, are you guys free now?"

"Oh, I don't suppose you're taking me out to dinner?"

"You don't want to? No pressure."

It seems that the Futsumen's stated intention to be grateful is not a lie.

But then again, the Futsumen's reaction is not infrequent.

I wonder how many times in the past he has taken the initiative to ask Rose out to dinner. Even the person who was invited must have wondered what kind of wind was blowing. For a moment, he even recalled the existence of the fake Nishino she had met during a school trip.

" Sometimes it's rare for you to invite me like that. "

"I have a good feeling about your recent conduct, notwithstanding your past history."

".......!"

But that's just that, and this is this.

She was happy to know that he was happy.

"Then leave sister alone and go with me, Gokyou Nishino."

"Wait a minute. If that's the case, I'll go with you."

I can't stand to be left behind.

Rose immediately got up from her chair and accepted the invitation to dinner.

"We're not going to hold up the bar, are we? Let's leave before it starts to get crowded."

"I'm in the mood for sushi today. How about sushi for dinner?"

" Why should I put your mood first?"

"Let's think about that while we look for a cab."

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea."

The bar was visited early in the day, and the people were hurriedly taking their seats.

Watching Nishino and the others as they began to mingle, Marquis turned his gaze to the hand in front of him.

" ........... ”

There, as Rose and Gabriella urged, were hot drinks and sweet snacks that were being prepared just now. As the master of the bar, I would have liked to complain about it. However, he would be in trouble if they stayed in the store as a result.

So he quietly watched the three of them leave the store without saying a word.

◇ ◆ ◇

At the same time that Nishino and his friends were bustling in the bar at Marquis.

Under the cold weather, there was a person pursuing them.

It was Okuda-san, the wonder girl of Class 2C.

She was on the street from Roppongi Station, glancing at the phone in her hand and moving her feet restlessly. A map application was displayed on the screen, and in the middle of the screen, a bright red pin kept moving slowly.

"Why is it in Roppongi? I don't think it's broken or anything........"

The pin indicated a GPS tag planted in Nishino's bag.

Okuda-san has been racking her brain trying to track its location.

"Nishino, are you rich? No, however, our school is a normal public school."

Secretly planted a tag to identify the Futsumen's home.

Okuda-san envisioned using the tag as a way to communicate at school, saying, I've already researched where you live, or something like that. She carries a model gun with her on a regular basis, and she never stops believing with all her heart that such things are fun.

According to Matsuura-san, she is a woman who has gone off the deep end in terms of her energy.

She truly believes that Nishino-kun must also be enjoying himself.

"Ah ...... "

After a while, the pin on the map stopped at a point.

She rushed to the place indicated by the icon.

She arrived at a building on the outskirts of downtown Roppongi. Each floor contained a variety of stores, including restaurants and other businesses. It was hard to believe that this was a residence. However, there was no change in the location of the pin, even after repeated checks.

"Maybe it's a part-time job or something."

She looks at the store from top to bottom in the small building and blurts out a few words.

Finally, her attention turns to the stairs leading to the basement.

At the bottom of the stairs, she could see the edge of a bar with an authentic atmosphere.

" ........ "

From Okuda-san's point of view, it was a pretty nice bar.

To put it more concretely, it was the kind of bar where you would want to wander in after school and have a chat with the master of the bar and the face of the underground industry with a drink in hand. The fantasy of a hobby filled her head as she signed a contract for a dark job and exchanged some kind of product with him.

And then, fortunately or unfortunately, there was a sign on the front of the bar indicating that it was not open for business.

Curious, she takes a step forward to make a reference for her future playtime.

With a nervous look on her face, she descends the stairs to the basement floor.

The storefront has a small window next to the door that serves as the entrance and exit. A sign was hung in front of the door indicating that the store was closed, but there was still light on the floor. Also, there was a slight sign of human presence from the inside.

Okuda-san tried to get a glimpse of the interior while she was at it.

Then, what came into view was the person she had been chasing.

"What, how come Nishino, you........"

You can see a Futsumen hanging over the counter with his legs crossed in an exaggerated manner.

Also visible right next to him are Rose and Gabriella.

Furthermore, a large black man standing on the other side of the counter is their conversation partner. The sight of his stern appearance was enough to make even Okuda-san feel threatened by Nishino's appearance, which was fully imbued with a sense of danger.

Immediately afterward, the sound of a chair being pulled out with a clatter could be heard from the floor.

Okuda-san fled the scene in a panic.

She quickly climbed the stairs that led to the ground level and moved away from the bar.

Otherwise, her tailing would have been ruined.

Leaving the street where the building faced the street, she dived into a secluded alley. Since her GPS tag had his location, there was no need to visually confirm where he was going. With that decision made, she prioritized hiding.

When she was completely hidden, Nishino and the others appeared from the bar.

The bell attached to the door rang a dry clang.

As they stepped outside the restaurant, the Futsumen's steps suddenly stopped.

" What's wrong ? Nishino-kun. You stopped suddenly. "

" ...... No, maybe it's just my imagination. "

"Don't worry about it. Must have been a quick-tempered customer."

But it was short-lived. He, along with Rose and Gabriella, took to the busy street. They picked up a cab, which was on the street, and left without a second thought. A neighborhood with a lot of other pedestrians, he thought, that could happen.

If Okuda-san had been watching them from a closer distance, he might have noticed that he was being followed. However, this was not the case this time. Her presence, hidden on the other side of the building across the street, was wonderfully lost in the hustle and bustle.

"I was right, it is Nishino........."

It was impossible for her to see the three of them come out of the bar with her own eyes.

However, Okuda-san was able to confirm their movements through the phone in her hand.

On the map application, the pin-like icons that had been stationary began to move again.

At first it seemed to be on foot, but after a few minutes or so it suddenly gained momentum and moved away from Okuda-san. If she followed the map, she could not see a bus stop or train station nearby.

" What? No way. A cab?"

Immediately after, she suddenly recalls a gossip she overheard on campus.

Come to think of it, there was a rumor among the girls before that Rose and Gabriella were usually carrying around expensive-looking brand-name goods, or something like that. It was immediately imagined that these girls might be the children of rich families.

After much consideration, Okuda-san made a decision.

Rose-san and Gabriella-san must be the same kind of people as me and Nishino-kun.

They must be the kind of people who go to the bars of their acquaintances and enjoy their hobbies together.

" ............. "

Despite her somewhat unusual tastes, Okuda-san is still a high school girl who has long since finished her mandatory education. She knows what she is doing. She doesn't expect her classmates to really be talking about dark business matters while enjoying drinks at a bar with a nice atmosphere.

Instead, what stimulated her mentality was her affinity not only for the Futsumen but also for Rose and Gabriella. Okuda-san developed an intense admiration and one-sided friendship with her classmates, who were practicing what she herself wanted to do without hesitation.

" Nishino-kun and the others are really cool...... "

She feels a sidelong conviction that she was not mistaken in her own eyesight.

Okuda-san is overjoyed to find three like-minded people.

With a smirk on her face, she stares at the moving icons on the map.

However, even she was afraid to try to catch a cab without checking the destination. She has a small allowance and a part-time job, which she has worked hard to earn, and she has model guns, GPS tags, and other goods.

So, for today, the taxi was withdrawn.

If she checked the pin's location again in the middle of the night, she would be able to figure out the location of his home.

With this in mind, Okuda-san left Roppongi in a good mood.

◇ ◆ ◇

The next day, Okuda-san visited Nishino shortly after he arrived at school.

It happened just after the Futsumen had finished his morning greeting exercise and settled into his seat. As if she had been watching for him to come to school, however, she emerged into the 2A classroom and came in a straight line to his seat.

"Hello, Nishino. It's a comforting morning with a coldness that stings me."

"Good morning, Okuda-san. What can I do for you?"

Nishino, who was getting ready for first period, stopped and turned towards its front.

There stood Okuda-san, her skirt just touching the edge of the desk. She is trying to look nonchalant, but she can't hide her excitement, and her nostrils are pithy. Last night, Okuda-san even identified the address of the Futsumen's residence, a shared house.

Using an online map service, she has even confirmed the outside appearance of the house.

In her mind, she was already waiting to be recognized as a mabudachi with him in front of her.

"I want to thank God that I could see the sunrise today along with you."

She greeted the audience with one hand raised to her chest and a small smile on her face.

She looked like a stage actor posing on the stage.

The students in the room were quick to look at her with a "wow" feeling.

The Futsumen, on the other hand, took her comments rather seriously.

"Does Okuda-san have any religious beliefs?"

Many of the people with whom he had been in contact were also religious people.

Considering the future of their friendship, he decided that it was important to confirm in advance so as not to inadvertently step on any landmines. For example, he is a virgin who thinks that if there is something unmentionable at the dinner table that he has invited on a date, he would like to figure it out now.

Then, just as he was waiting for it, Okuda-san said.

"You see, I am a devout Christian."

This is completely random.

While celebrating Christmas with cake and chicken, they would visit temples and shrines on New Year's Day and visit graves on Buddhist holidays. The Okuda family was a very common family in this country. However, the sound of being a devout Christian made her feel good.

The list of lines she would like to say at least once in her life was digested one more time against Nishino.

In contrast, the Futsumen took Okuda-san's statement in another straightforward manner and continued the question and answer.

"If you don't mind, may I ask what kind of Christian denomination you belong to? "

" Eh ... Ah, Protestants ! I'm Orthodox"

"I see."

Quickly, I pulled out a word I had seen in a history textbook and got over it.

It is a phrase that would raise an eyebrow if Catholics heard it.

Immediately afterward, I began to feel a sense of rivalry with the Futsumen.

I thought to myself, "You're doing a great job, Nishino," or something like that.

"Okuda-san, didn't you pay your respects at a nearby shrine before?"

"That was during New Year's, wasn't it?"

"She was all dressed up in a kimono, but I heard she was alone."

"When she was in junior high school, she got in trouble with the police for going into a church at night."

"Isn't Okuda-san's energy a bit dangerous?"

A whispered exchange of words began among the students who watched the conversation between the two.

Not caring about this, Okuda-san, gaining momentum, continued his conversation with the Futsumen.

Recalling the scene she had witnessed yesterday, he took the first step.

"By the way, Nishino-kun, there is one thing I would like to ask you."

"What ? "

"What kind of relationship do you have with Rose-san and Gabriella-san ?"

Okuda-san's casual manner.

However, this really caught the attention of the students.

Since just a few months ago, there has been an increasing number of opportunities for the beautiful girls from the next class to show up in the 2A class. Since he is a Futsumen, the classmates have been afraid to ask him about it, and until today, they have spent a lot of time without mentioning it.

Only a few students, such as the Chairwoman and Takeuchi, understand what is going on.

"Okuda-san, what's wrong with those two?"

"I was wondering if I could join your group."

This again is an unfamiliar statement that attracts the attention of the students.

I wondered if there was such a thing as a group in the first place.

"..........."

In response to her statement, tthe Futsumen gave it some thought.

Nishino called Francisca again yesterday to confirm her suspicions about Okuda-san's background. The result was white. He was informed that she is an ordinary female student anywhere, based on investigations conducted in the past. Naturally, there was no room to know what happened to her, nor Rose or Gabriella.

On the other hand, the Chairwoman, who had been listening to the conversation, was not happy with the exchange.

She began to wonder if Okuda-san might know about Nishino-kun's job or something like that. She spent her study time, which was already dwindling, fretting over the possibility that the Futsumen had just denied.

The same goes for Takeuchi. He began to get cold feet.

As this was happening, the person who had been brought up in the discussion showed up in the classroom.

"Oh, did you say Okuda-san? I see you're in the A class again this morning."

"Are you interested in that guy?"

They are Rose and Gabriella.

They spotted Nishino in the classroom and walked straight up to his seat.

They lined up right next to Okuda-san, who stood in front of them.

Having been approached first, she turned to them and said.

"You are interested in the same thing. Would you welcome me as one of your own?"

In a complete change from yesterday, Okuda-san spoke to the two girls without hesitation.

The weak and timid manner in which she had been so self-conscious about dealing with female students at the top of the school's caste system was not felt in the slightest today. Rather, her eyes sparkled as she looked at Rose and Gabriella with envy.

Okuda-san, who has no hesitation when it comes to her own friends.

If anything, she was eager to show off the model gun strapped to her thigh.

"You mean you want to be friends with us?"

"I wouldn't mind standing for her, though."

Lighthearted remarks like those made by Futsumen naturally come out of her.

For Rose, it is no exaggeration to say that if Okuda-san were to target Nishino, it would be a mission of the utmost importance to know what was going on. If the other party approached her, there was no reason for her to refuse.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not into that kind of thing. Would you be willing to be my friend?"

"In that case, let's exchange contact information first."

Gabu-chan decided to follow her sister's decision.

In front of Nishino's eyes, Okuda-san exchanged contact information with them.

Witnessing this exchange, the members of Class 2A were upset. They wondered why Okuda-san was getting along with Rose-san and Gabriella-chan. Because they exchanged contact information with each other without a trace of disapproval.

From the perspective of all the female students, it was nothing but an underhanded scene.

Even from the male students' point of view, it seemed odd.

However, the two girls did not seem to be bothered by what the other was saying or doing.

For Okuda-san, it was necessary to correctly determine what kind of relationship Rose and Gabriella had with Nishino. If, by any chance, they were in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, she would lose the place she had found if she went in on the wrong foot.

Even she could understand that much.

I was going to take this opportunity to find out what was going on in their hearts.

And, it is Okuda-san's strong point and weak point to act immediately when she gets an idea.

After exchanging contact information, she turned to them and asked.

"By the way, excuse me, but do you two like Nishino?"

Straightforward without mercy.

The unspoken, unspoken words of a woman who has developed a "chuunibyou" syndrome.

This surprised Rose inside. She did not expect her to ask so openly, not only in front of the students but also in front of herself. She could not just nod her head and answer in the same way she had told the Futsumen before.

"I don't mind, okay? I like him very much."

"I like him. But he seems to be more interested in other women."

Gabu-chan, on the other hand, is free to go to any length.

She spoke her mind as if she were addressing the Futsumen.

Hearing their reaction, voices of doubt rose from all corners of the classroom.

"Eh, seriously ? "

" What did Gabu-chan say just now ? "

"I thought she meant as a friend."

"Even if she did, that's not good."

"I'm also rather curious about what Rose said."

"So, these days, they've been pretty serious about going somewhere during your lunch break?"

In any case, it was a surprising statement for the members of the second-year A class.

They knew that Rose and Gabriella visited Nishino before morning homeroom and during recess. They also saw that the former had a lunch box down in her hand. However, they do not believe that favors are being directed from one person to the Futsumen.

It was not until this fall that Rose began to approach Nishino. Until then, there was no contact at all. From an outsider's point of view, it was too sudden a change. If that were the case, it would still make more sense to think that Nishino is taking advantage of the girls' weakness to get the better of them.

"If I recall, Gabriella, you said something like that yesterday."

"Gokyou Nishino, what do you think? She is very interested in you, too."

Gabu-chan gets together with Okuda-san and crowds the Futsumen.

Surrounded by members of the opposite sex in the classroom, they talked about love.

A very adolescent-like event that Futsumen should normally be happy about.

However, it was on the last day of the school trip that he heard from a girl who was interested in him that Nishino-kun was not the one. It was just the other day. It was too embarrassing to talk about it to Okuda-san, the person he had started to be interested in since yesterday.

Nishino, running for his life, resumes preparing for the first period, which he had stopped working on.

His unnecessary behavior is also irritating.

All of his classmates, although they didn't want to know who Nishino was interested in, were listening to him with the help of Rose and Gabriella. The thought of another opportunity made them feel even more disgusted.

From two seats next to him, Shimizu gave him a glimpse.

"I don't believe it, but Nishino is popular? "

"No, no, no, they're just being considerate."

"Those two look so innocent, but they're surprisingly kind."

"Even the guys who confessed their feelings and got rejected looked so contented."

The bad reputation of the Futsumen that roared through the campus is still shared not only by the students but also by the teachers as a certainty. Some of them are mixed with facts that cannot be said to be false. With this background, only a few of the students seemed to have taken their conversation in stride.

But the fact is that Nishino is surrounded by Rose, Gabriella, and Okuda-san.

One of the boys looked at the scene and muttered to himself.

"But, Nishino's looks like he's the real deal, doesn't he?"

A few boys nearby were naturally repulsed by the statement.

They wanted to speak out against it without denying it.

However, they could not come up with the right words on the spur of the moment.

Because where they were staring, the sight of the Futsumen sitting in his own seat, surrounded by female students, was a true fulfillment of the real world. They wondered how many boys in this classroom had ever stood in the same position.

In the meantime, the bell rings to announce morning homeroom.

Gabu-chan's question was ignored, and the students returned to their seats.

◇ ◆ ◇

During lunch break on the same day, Nishino received a call from Marquis on his phone.

They were on the rooftop enjoying a homemade lunch box made by Rose. He reported over the phone that he had made progress on a job he had asked for last night. He said he had some idea of where the target was.

"Sorry to rush you, but when do you think you can get started?"

"Well, since you're in such a hurry, we can start tonight."

"All right, I'll ask them to do that."

"Yeah, I'll see you then."

After an exchange that lasted only a few dozen seconds, Nishino ended the call.

The Futsumen put his phone away in his pocket.

Okuda-san looked at him and immediately called out to him.

"A business call? Nishino-kun."

"Yeah, something like that."

Nishino responds in a matter-of-fact manner.

Since Okuda-san's background has been confirmed, he does not make any strange intuitions. He chews over her statement in the appropriate place, thinking that she must have misunderstood it as a contact with his part-time job or something. It was influenced by his experience of working at a maid cafe just last month.

"As a matter of fact, I've got one big job tonight, too."

"That's a coincidence."

"I've got one job that's too difficult for anyone but me to get into."

"I see that Okuda-san is relied upon by people at work."

"I don't feel bad about being depended on, but it's frustrating that I can't raise a following."

"That's something else I've heard somewhere."

This is the lunch time that he used to have with Rose and Gabriella. Today, Okuda-san is also present. As soon as the lunch break started, she rushed to the second year A class with her lunch box in her hand.

As for Rose, she is nothing but a distraction.

However, Nishino allowed her to be present before he invited her.

Incidentally, Okuda-san's lunch today consisted of a nutritional supplement snack and a jelly drink. Dessert was a capsule vitamin pill. Normally, she would have eaten a homemade lunch box prepared by her mother, but she had prepared her lunch with Nishino as a prerequisite for her lunch with him, and she was trying her best to make it a full-blown hobby.

These items had been taken out of her school bag just a few minutes ago with an air of pretentiousness. Usually, I just eat this kind of food, she said, and then she put the food in her mouth.

On the handle of the bag, an inverted cross key chain with a stern design gleamed.

"Does Okuda-san always work until night?"

"Depends on the job."

"It must be difficult to have an irregular rhythm of life."

"It can't be helped. I'll do my best not to get hurt. "

Thanks to Nishino's courteous reception, Okuda-san, who speaks, is in a good mood. This is what she wanted to do, she said. Rose, who had heard about Okuda-san's mysteriousness from the Chairwoman beforehand, was not upset at all.

She makes sure to secure her own share of the conversation with the Futsumen.

"Nishino, what do you think of this Tatsuta-age? I'm very proud of it."

" In that case, I'll have one."

"Sister, please give me another bowl of miso soup. Please add more ingredients."

"It's in the bottle over there. Pour it yourself."

"Aah! Only the top clear soup came out. There is no miso in it."

" Shake it properly. You did the same thing before!"

" I was in such a hurry to get hot soup under the cold weather that I forgot to do it."

"I'm sorry, may I have some more soup myself?"

"Give me your cup. I will pour it for you."

"Sister, I don't think it's right that you've changed your attitude so blatantly compared to mine."

"What are you talking about now? You are doing the same thing."

In front of Okuda-san's face, conversations are exchanged as before.

A sheet is laid out on the rooftop, and Rose's homemade bento boxes are laid out in various places on the sheet. Everyone gathered around for lunch. The Futsumen also behaved as usual and shared the meal with the girls.

"Why don't you change the place for good? It's cold, even in the sun."

"I don't like the noise, but is there a better place?"

"Personally, I'm not going to stick around in the same place for now......."

After a while, Okuda-san finished her meal before Nishino and the others.

She finished her meal quickly because of the simple menu.

However, as she was growing up, there was not enough food for her. She also prioritized her hobbies, and as a result, all of the food was sweet, making her crave salty food. Her eyes naturally turned to Rose's homemade bento.

The stacked boxes lined up in a row were filled with elaborate and delicious-looking dishes. The miso soup poured from a thermos bottle into a paper cup and emitting warm steam also looked very tasty and full of ingredients.

"Are you concerned about the lunch that sister made?"

" No, no, no ... "

When Gabriella pointed this out to her, Okuda-san looked away in a panic.

Because Nishino was so unconcerned about eating Rose's homemade bento, Okuda-san, who had taken the offensive with blocked nutritional supplements and jelly drinks, shrugged it off. She regretted that she should have asked her mom to prepare a regular lunch box if this was to be the case.

"If you're hungry, you're welcome to pick it."

"Why are you acting so high and mighty?"

" For that reason, I will refrain from eating today. "

" What kind of a mood do you have when you are always doing whatever you want?"

"Lately, there has been a noticeable increase in my weight. It's not a good sign."

"You're growing up, aren't you? At your age, it would be strange if you weren't gaining."

As for Rose, it was an extremely unsatisfactory proposal.

She was already convinced that Okuda-san was aware of Nishino. If possible, she would like to get rid of her immediately. However, being in the presence of the Futsumen, she was afraid to accept the proposal honestly on this occasion.

Without any choice, Rose turned to Okuda-san and showed her concession.

"I don't feel good about eating next to you when you look so greedy like that. If you are hungry, please pick whatever you want. I have extra chopsticks and plates for you to use, so don't worry about it."

" Ah, thank you. Rose-san. "

Taking the offered chopsticks and paper plate, Okuda-san reached for the stacked box.

Her mouth, which had been starved for salty taste, was filled with the flavor of Tatsuta-age.

A happy smile peeked across her face.

Rose's homemade bento was very delicious.

"Personally, I recommend the chikuzenni!"

" ............ You mean this?"

" That's it.The large chicken with skin in a vegetable broth is divine!"

"It's true, it's so delicious. The meat isn't dry, it's amazing!"

"Can you guys please stop picking the chicken?"

Okuda-san was so happy that she began to baulk at the chikuzenni that she was no longer aware of the vitamins that she had reserved for dessert.
